Catyana Falsetti, CFA

Catyana has been an artist her entire life. She received her BA from State University of New York at New Paltz in History, Anthropology and Fine Art. She received her Master’s Degree from the George Washington University in Forensic Sciences in 2000 with her major paper subject being forensic facial approximation. She has received training from Stuart Parks Forensic Associates in 2000.

She has worked as a death investigator, and crime scene investigator in the metro DC area (Prince William County PD) where she continued her forensic art training at the FBI and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Catyana then became the first full time Forensic Artist at the Broward Sheriff’s Office in Fort Lauderdale, FL where she created the LinkedIn Forensic Art Discussion Group and, with the LASD artist, created the forensic art list. She worked as a Forensic Exhibit Specialists’ Specialist at the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office in Phoenix, AZ and is currently working as a Faculty Associate at the Arizona State University.
